SQLW: SQL 2005 Readiness Workshops
SQL Server 2005 will have an impact on new and existing developments and it is important that development professionals understand the impact that the new release will have on their projects. There are 3 separate SQL Server 2005 workshops:
  • For Decision-makers and planners (3Hrs) (SQLW1)
  • For Developers (1/2 Day) (SQLW2)
  • For DBAs (1/2 Day) (SQLW3)

The Workshops are presented using the latest release of SQL Server 2005 where the topics are presented using practical examples of new features and enhancements of SQL Server 2005.
The course will teach the attendee:
  • What are the new features and enhancements of SQL Server 2005.
  • What impact SQL Server 2005 will have on their existing application architectures
  • What may need to be re-worked on existing projects to migrate to SQL Server 2005
  • What considerations need to be made for the platform.
  • How to re-plan long running SQL Server projects if SQL Server 2005 is released during the development window

Duration: Bundled over three weeks; 1/week
