One
of the major problems experienced by any Systems Manager when
recruiting new staff is judging just how technically capable the candidate is.
Often, only after appointing someone, does it become apparent that the
individual is not suitable for the position.
In view
of this, Infomet has introduced a student certification programme.
Students will now have the opportunity to "qualify" themselves for a specific
role by writing a bi-annual certification exam. Those obtaining a CUM LAUDE
pass will receive a gold certificate, a 1st class - a silver and a 2nd class - a
bronze.
